Steps
Fresh, mature coconuts are carefully selected. The outer husk is removed, and the coconuts are cracked open to extract the meat, discarding the shell and coconut water.
The brown skin (testa) is peeled off from the coconut meat. The peeled coconut is then thoroughly washed to remove any impurities, ensuring it's clean and ready for grating.
The cleaned coconut meat is grated using specialized machines that shred the coconut into fine, uniform pieces. The grating size can be adjusted to achieve the desired texture.
The grated coconut is cooled to preserve freshness, then packed in airtight, food-grade packaging under hygienic conditions to maintain quality and ensure safety.
